Returning to Seattle, his professional career began with consulting for Ernst & Ernst and he later became Partner in charge of consulting for Ernst & Young. After graduation, Bill served in the US Air Force as a Titan Missile Crew Commander in Wichita, KS while earning his Masters degree in Accounting at Wichita State University.
